The number of students in the Higher Education sector has been increasing in recent years. However, there is a growing need for educators to consider models of assessment. Diagrammatic solutions are an integral aspect of many courses in higher education. The aim of this research is to investigate semi-automated assessment systems which enable the use of computers to support the assessment process of student diagrammatic, especially decision tree. This paper highlights the difficulties of DTs and proposes the development of semi-automated assessment system.
