The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of exchange rate regimes on economic growth in light of oil price fluctuations in the GCC countries, which includes six countries: United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and State of Kuwait. Through exposure to various theoretical and experimental literature on the subject. To achieve this goal, we used a standard study using data from the period between 1981 and 2016. The results of the study indicate that there is no relationship between the linkage system to the US dollar and the economic growth of the countries studied, and the existence of a positive relationship between the level of production of crude oil and economic growth.
