This study sought to identify the obstacles that prevent the employment of educational electronic platforms in public schools in the Sultanate of Oman, with the aim of developing post-basic education in the Sultanate of Oman and upgrading it to reach high quality outputs, which comes through the development and modernization of e-learning concepts for schools of post-basic education in the Sultanate of Oman, and enhancing the capabilities of those dealing with the educational system in using modern educational technologies, not based on possessing knowledge only, but also on building interactive educational platforms, working to raise the level of academic achievement for students, and enabling all elements of society, including parents of students and others, to interact with Educational services provided by post-basic education schools, and this goal can be achieved by identifying the obstacles that prevent the employment of electronic educational platforms in post-basic schools in the Sultanate of Oman. For government school principals and their assistants, teachers, and computer technicians in the educational governorates (Muscat – Al Batinah North – Al Dakhiliyah – Ash Sharqiyah North). The sample used of this study consisted of (432) individuals, and the results showed the presence of a high degree of obstacles that hinder the employment of electronic educational platforms in the educational process in public schools in the Sultanate of Oman; The general average of the paragraphs and areas of these obstacles was (4.05), and the technical obstacles came in the first place with an arithmetic average of (4.17), followed in the second place by the administrative and material obstacles with an arithmetic average of (3.99), and in the third place came the human obstacles with an arithmetic average of 3.99 (3.98), and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the respondent's gender, educational level and number of years of experience on the study sample members' estimates of the level of obstacles. In light of these results, the study recommended a number of recommendations.
