The aim of the study is to identify number of common mistakes in master theses، and to reveal in the approved masters’ theses in 2010، 2018 and 2019، in specialization of Arabic language at department of curriculum and of Teaching in Faculty of Education at Sultan Qaboos University. To achieve this objective، the two researchers prepared list of (66) mistakes. After refereeing and verifying their consistency، they added them into analysis card (Survey tool). The results of analysis :(29) mistakes (43.9%) of total mistakes. Mistake no.(59) "no link between theories and the problem being studied" has ranked in highest rate(100%)، repetition (22)times. The mistake no.(19) of "importance of study" axis، its text: "applied importance appeared without theoretical importance" ranked in the second level (86.36%)، repeated:(19). The mistake no.(48) of "theoretical framework" axis، its text: "ideas are not connecting with relevant topic" ranked in the third، (50%)، repeated (11)times. In the light of findings، the study concluded set of recommendations، the most significant: adding courses to students enrolled in postgraduates، to deal with common mistakes in master theses and how to avoid. Training students to write critically through workshops، training programs and eliminating burdens of the academic supervisors .
