Tidal prediction of oceans which is induced by the gravitational centripetal forces of the Earth-Sun-Moon system plays an important role in a variety of cases. Current solutions that offer analysis of observations and prediction of tide, often support islands and ports. The present study, addresses a GIS-based design and implementation in order to build a database and visualize tide information based on co-tidal charts such as co-range and co-phase maps. This study uses Simplified Harmonic Method (SHM) to produce time series of tides and related main harmonic constituents at a specific location. It also provide times of high water and low water events in appropriate forms. Retrieval of the data which belongs to any point of interest in Oman Sea, is a key issue to make continuous tide prediction possible for every area of interest. So tide prediction alongside coast of Oman Sea’s states, as well as islands and offshore tidal level is offered to the users of the program.
