Class size has become a burning issue in ELT literature and practice. Questions are very frequently raised about the optimal class size and the impact of class size on students' achievement and attitudes and teacher's practice. The objective of this study is to shed light on the class size in the schools of general education and the Colleges of Technology in the Sultanate of Oman.
