The Contemporary Review of the Middle East is a quarterly launched in 2014 by the Middle East Institute, New Delhi. It is a flagship publication of the MEI established virtually in October 2009 to promote research and informed debate on the region in India. Within a short time, the journal has been able to make a mark through credible and original research works. CRME enjoys the endorsement of established Middle Eastern scholars who have chosen to publish their original research in the journal.
