The study aimed to investigate the perceptions of an autistic specialists about the role of an outdoor learning approach in mainimizin the behavioral disorders of autistic children in Oman. The study employed the qualitative approach, by using semi-structured interviews to collect the data from the ample of the study which consisted of (15) specialists. After analyzing the data, responses were categorized into four main categories from which a number of subcategories emerged, each of which included specific perceptions centered on the outdoor learning entrance in terms of its importance to the autistic child and the autistic specialist, the suitability of outdoor learing approach to autistic children, and the obstacles of employing it . In the light of the results of the study, some recommendations were suggested, the most important of which is to provide training programs for autistic professionals to employ the outdoor learning approach. In addition, solutions to the logistical challenges encountering employing this approach must be introduced, including the establishment of gardens equipped with different components that suit the autistic children in their private and governmental rehabilitation centers in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
