The present study aimed at identifying methods of stress coping in a sample of the blind and sighted in the NGOs in the Sultanate of Oman where the study used descriptive and comparative method. The study sample consisted of blind and sighted (107) members, who constitute 19% of the study population. The study used a measure of the methods of coping with hardship by Maisa Shukri (1999) and consisted of (52) words distributed on 13 axis. To analyze the results of the study, the arithmetic mean, standard deviations, binary variance analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient were calculated. One of the main findings of the study was that the degree of the use of coping methods in the study sample of the blind reached a total of a medium degree, where the mean was 2.30. The degree of use of the methods of coping hardship in the sample of the study of sighters amounted to the total number of intermediate degree, where the mean arithmetic (2.30). The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) for the measure of coping difficulties according to gender variables and the state and interaction between them.
