METROPOLITAN GOVERNANCE IN SOUTH AFRICA: RE-MODELLING FOR A PARADIGM SHIFT

David, Joseph E.

Through a comparative analysis of metropolitan governance structures in other emerging economies, the study found that models of metropolitan governance in South Africa are seriously wanting and as a result have a negative impact on service delivery.
