GeoArabia was a quarterly journal published between 1996 and 2015 in Bahrain by Gulf PetroLink, a company founded by Dr. Moujahed Ibrahim Al-Husseini in 1993. During those 20 years Moujahed was the Editor-in-Chief and responsible for inviting technical leaders from the industry, academia, professional societies, and geological surveys to form the Editorial Board. More than 300 rigorously reviewed geoscience papers and several special publications were edited and designed professionally by GeoArabia’s staff. In 2016, Moujahed retired as GeoArabia’s Publisher and Editor-in-Chief with a view to transfer the journal to the next generation of geoscientists, and in 2018 donated the GeoArabia library to GeoScienceWorld.
