This quantitative study discusses the psychological compatibility relationship with both self-efficacy and the level of ambition among Sohar University students in the Sultanate of Oman. The problem lies in the lack of students’ knowledge of psychological compatibility, self-efficacy and the level of ambition, which makes them vulnerable to behavioural and psychological disorders. Therefore, this affect their scientific, practical future and their lives in general, or positively affect their levels if they are high. The study adopted the descriptive approach, where the researcher designed three questionnaires, the first for psychological compatibility, the second for the self-efficacy, and the third for the level of ambition, were distributed to the study sample of (627) students. Data analysis included the level of psychological compatibility, the level of self-efficacy, the level of ambition, the extent of the correlation of psychological compatibility with self-efficacy on the one hand, and its correlation with the level of ambition. And the diagnosis of statistical differences attributed to gender variable and college variables, through the application of statistical methods and calculation of arithmetical averages, standard deviations and Pearson correlation coefficient to obtain the results. The findings revealed that; the sample of the study sample on the level of self-efficacy was highly rated, the level of ambition was very high, there was a statistically significant correlation between psychological compatibility and self-efficacy, and a statistically significant relationship at level (0.01) and level (0.05) Psychological and overall degree, the level of ambition. It is recommended to improve the level of the students’ guidance section to a counseling center to deal better with the students’ psychological needs.
