The situation of school principals indicates the lack of opportunities to play a wider role in the educational process in their schools, perhaps due to the limited powers granted, and that the administrative legislation does not live up to the level commensurate with the real concept of administrative empowerment of school principals, where one study indicated that school principals needed administrative empowerment, competencies and training programs. Therefore, this quantitative study aimed to discuss the reality of the principals’ administrative empowerment. The researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (48) paragraphs. After confirming itsvalidity and reliability applied to a sample of (52) of the directors representing the entire research community. Arithmetical averages, standard deviations, and T test were extracted. The findings revealed that; the estimates of school principals to the paragraphs of each field of administrative empowerment came generally within an average grade. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (á = 0. 05) for the individuals' assessment of administrative empowerment due to variables such as gender.
