The study aimed to identify the levels of literacy in the social insurance services, to investigate channels of communication that literacy the private sector workers with social insurance services. The results showed that there is no insurance literacy for the social insurance services of the sample members and that relative and friends are the channel of communication to help literacy private sector employees with social insurance services. Also results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the levels of Insurance literacy according to the variables of age, years of experience and salary and there were differences in channels of communication depending on the age and the scientific qualification.
