Urease, ELISA test, and culturing on Columbia agar used to detect the presence of H. pylori in these patients Results: Fifty-eight patients; 30 males (51.7%) and 28 females (48.3%) were infected with gastritis B. The results showed that 81% of the patients gave positive results of serum IgG anti body.
