The last years witnessed a remarkable attention in training. To realize good training, tremendous amounts of money have been spent and many programs have been executed. What remained is making sure that the training programs are efficacious, whereas the effect on the individual and the institution is the central question in the minds of decision-makers. The research aims at answering many questions about the extent of the training programs efficacy in the Sultanate of Oman from the training officers’ perspectives regarding defining the aims of the training programs, selecting the offers of the training programs, execution and following-up. Also, to what extent age, sex, labour sector, academic qualification, place of training, employing position and experience effect the judgment of how efficacious are the training programs.
